Join us as we take you on a speech-to-text and BSL interpreted tour of our latest exhibition Medieval Women: In Their Own Words. This tour is suitable for visitors who are D/deaf, deafened and hard of hearing. On this tour you will be guided through the exhibition by a curator and discover the rich and complex lives of women in the Middle Ages. Find out about the extraordinary items that reveal their artistry, resourcefulness, courage and struggles. The curator will provide an overview of the exhibition and focus in on a number of highlights on display. Live speech-to-text transcription will be provided by Stagetext and a BSL interpreter will be present. One free ticket for a companion is available per visitor.
